Dinner consisted of leftovers. Lame, I know, but when I asked W1 what he wanted for dinner, he didn't seem to care, and I really didn't want to turn the oven on today (our thermostat reads 80 degrees with the window AC running). And hey, those leftovers were delicious, R1 told me so, and he is always serious.
We had the requested chocolate cake with blue frosting.
Messily enjoyed by everyone.
And then, the much anticipated present opening.
The result? Quiet, focused playing for the next hour until bedtime. Beautiful!
