For years, my wife has sworn by DVDs and treats (which started out as toddler finger-foods and then became carrots). Sometimes, a week after my daughter gets a haircut, she'll ask for another one, just so she can watch a movie. (Does that make us overly strict?)

There was no movie playing today when I got my hair cut. I feel robbed.
